5-Day Course for Law Enforcement Executives

The FBI - Law Enforcement Executive Development Association, Chief James Sullivan and the Hampton Police Department are pleased to announce a five-day Command Institute for Law Enforcement Executives being held in Hampton, New Hampshire.

The Command Institute© focuses on key areas to help ensure that those aspiring to command level assignments will be successful.  Instructional staff includes command level law enforcement and government leaders with extensive leadership experience who have a passion for teaching. Attendees will be engaged in such topics as political savvy, leading change, risk management, organizational culture, mastery of self, organizational communication, tracking and measuring successes, and establishing a leadership legacy.  Students will also learn techniques on how to prepare and test form command positions, as well as what to do once a command assignment is achieved.

The Command Institute for Law Enforcement Executives will begin at 9:00 A.M. on Monday, September 8, 2008 and conclude at 1:00 P.M. on Friday, September 12, 2008.  The Command Institute will be held in the Hampton Police Department, 100 Brown Avenue, Hampton, New Hampshire 03842.  Please contact the Ashworth Hotel, 295 Ocean Boulevard, Hampton, New Hampshire 03842 (Telephone: 800-345-6763) to make your hotel reservations.  To receive the special rate of $79.00 per night plus tax, please mention "LEEDA" at the time you make your reservations.

Cancellation Policy: FBI - LEEDA may cancel or postpone any program or activity because of insufficient enrollment or other unforessen circumstances.  If a program is canceled or postponed, FBI - LEEDA will refund registration fees but cannot be held responsible for any other related costs, charges or expenses, including cancellation/change charges assessed by airlines or travel agencies.
