Hampton, New Hampshire is a beach resort community located along the beautiful New Hampshire Seacoast, directly adjacent to Interstate 95 and minutes from the Massachusetts border. Our Police Department is staffed with 36 Full-Time and 20+ Part-Time Sworn Officers. We serve a diverse community of 15,000 year-round residents and over 135,000 residents during the spring and summer months.

Minimum Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Possess a valid motor vehicle operator’s license
  • Sufficient ability to meet Department and New Hampshire Police Academy standards
  • Completion of college courses, military duty and/or relevant experience is desirable but not required
